RISE is organised in six divisions working across borders in business and innovation areas. One division, Safety and transport, focus on safer and more sustainable transportation. One part of this is to work together with other partners to support the use of hydrogen in the transport sector.

The aim of the thesis is to give an overview and analysis of the current state when it comes to hydrogen production in the transport sector. This will be carried out by reviewing relevant literature concerning refuelling stations and through interviews with relevant players at the market. RISE has identified a couple of reports that can form the basis of the literature study and can also provide the student(s) with contacts at case/demo facilities.

Based on the results of the literature study and the interviews an analysis will be carried out based on factors such as price trend and technology development. Is it possible to increase the profitability?

Final definitions are made in consultation with the supervisor at the university and with the contact person at the client. Both students and the client should be aware that relevant academic support must be applied in the work.
